(click here for details) allows for gathering, tracking and retrieving all
information related to obligations of engineers, clients, vendors and
contractors with reference to all assigned and committed project related tasks:
- Based on project meeting outcomes and correspondence (letters, faxes,
memoranda), an interface engineer compiles all critical activities in the
program database, identifying all responsible and requesting parties and individuals,
and also all planned and
actual dates of the interface activities.
- His secretary keeps updated in the database the mail-, fax- and e-mail
addresses of all project involved parties and individuals, and also takes care
for e-mailing of the interface reports.
- Assignment, performance and
completion of all tasks assigned to and/or requested by the responsible parties and individuals
can be instantly tracked on the computer screens of all project management
members, as well as clients, vendors and contractors.
Program reports (printed, faxed, e-mailed or web-posted) are used as
means of communication for verifying and acknowledging start-up, performance and
completion of all related project tasks.
